Having recently rung in the New Year at Oro Nero Florence, I must say it was a delightful home away from home, particularly after years of culinary exploration across the States. This charming guest house is just a stone's throw from Florence Santa Maria Novella train station, making it a breeze to navigate the city's landmarks. We were captivated by the elegant decor and the impeccably clean, soundproof rooms, each boasting lovely views of the city. Silvia, our host, truly set this place apart - her warm hospitality made our stay feel utterly special. She even arranged a few lovely surprises that added a personal touch to our visit. The kitchenette was quite handy for preparing a quick breakfast before our daily strolls through Florence. And trust me, there's nothing quite like enjoying a cup of espresso while planning your next culinary adventure! With its proximity to the bustling city centre, yet nestled in a peaceful enclave, Oro Nero is the perfect balance of convenience and serenity. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a bit of luxury with a personal touch on their travels.
